The Mortgage Bankers Association of Northeastern New York was established in 1985. The administrative year runs January 1st through December 31st.
MBA of NENY Mission Statement: The Mortgage Bankers Association of Northeastern New York is a regional association representing lenders in the Albany Capital District. We are an organization dedicated to helping our members do their business. Our members include all elements of real estate finance: mortgage banks, commercial banks, thrifts, credit unions and others in the mortgage lending field. We provide up-to-the minute news, information and education to our members so they are better able to meet the needs of their customers. We host a variety of events and regular meetings that provide our members with access to business leaders and key federal and state officials impacting the residential lending industry. We provide effective networking opportunities with our affiliate members who provide our membership with strategic tools, industry updates, and professional resources. We support the National MBA which is an active advocate for the interest of our members through lobbying and other activities.
